Week 6 - Ms. Rowena's Class 103

Dear parents,
I love autumn!  We'll be having a lot of activities this month, and I will need your help to prepare for these activities for your child/children.  Please make sure to always check my daily blog if possible.

Week 6 - 10/06 ~ 10/10
Monday 星期一 10/06	1. 讀寫第六週口語應用單字兩次Read and write Week 6 weekly Recognition words #7~18, x2 times (firefighter, butterfly, game, insect, nip, sit, fit, pin, jump, skip, talk, run)       2. 造句Week 6 Sentence Making:第六週應用字詞 Production words #1~6 (big, bag, fig, fin, it, in) 3. 背誦會話Recite weekly conversation x2 times *    We'll have a Double 10th holiday this coming Friday, and I've told students to get one English book to read this weekend and write a book report.  Please find time to stop by the bookstore to choose one English book according to your child's level.  雙十國慶假日即將來臨，已告知孩子們本週的作業是寫一篇英文讀書心得報告。請家長找時間帶孩子一起逛逛書店並讓幫助孩子選擇一本適合孩子目前程度的書籍。 **  Students will also write a Holiday Journal this weekend about things he/she will be doing during the holiday with family (an A3 worksheet will be provided for kids to work the project with pictures printed from the printer).  We'll display the works in the classroom and spend time to share about their holiday breaks.       另外，孩子也要製作一張A3大小的假期日記，請家長提供孩子在假期中所拍攝的電子檔的照片已便於貼在日記裡 (也可以讓孩子插畫)。會於下週張貼在教室供大家欣賞並於課堂上分享。 ***  No recording assignment this weekend!  本週沒有錄音作業。 **** Vocabulary and sentence quiz will be held this Thursday. 本週單字及句型考將於週四舉行
Tuesday 星期二 10/07	1.   萬聖節圖畫兩張: 2 copies of Halloween Coloring.  Please color these pictures nicely for display purposes.  Return it tomorrow on Thursday. 請用心完成這兩張圖並請用色彩鮮豔的色筆畫圖以裝飾教室內外用。請於明日改週四繳給Ms. Rowena。 2.  基本單字組: Sight words coloring.  Please color this set of Sight Word cards carefully with darker colors for class use purposes. Return it tomorrow on Thursday.        請用心畫這一組基本單字組，請盡量用深色但鮮豔的色筆塗滿字體以便上課時使用。請於明日改週四繳給Ms. Rowena。 3.  Sleep early and remember to bring lunch, water, baby wipes, small pack of tissue paper, an extra set of light clothes and an underwear and a plastic bag (medium size), just in case.       請盡量早睡，並記得帶午餐、水、小包濕紙巾及衛生紙。並帶一組輕便的衣服及內褲以防萬一；及一個中型塑膠袋。 **New photos were added today! https://www.facebook.com/XinminEnglish
Wednesday 星期三 10/08	1. 第六週小考 Week 6 Quiz: Study all the words for for sentence test.  Ex. A big yellow butterfly. Week 5 : Ms. Rowéna's Class 103 Homework

Hello parents!
Many many thanks for your gifts and wishes on Teacher's Day.  Thank you! 
Actually, we celebrate Teacher's Day on the 5th of October in America; and I'm trying to get used to celebrating it a head of time here in Taiwan : )  

The weather is getting cooler; and I love the season of Fall.  I hope you enjoy the season as well.
